How the websites will work is that the homepage will be swampfrogurt.com the game will be play.swampfrogurt.com blog blog.swampfrogurt.com the forum swampfrogurt.com/forum/ membership swampfrogurt.com/membership/ secure secure.swampfrogurt.com

OK, so secure is going to be the path of the SSL where people place orders?

Maybe instead of secure there it all should just be in parents...Or secure can be for your frogs security like how to keep your password safe and stuff like that.

There's no point paying for SSL just for tips on how to keep your account secure. You could use SSL and integrate PayPal into the website, but that would cost a lot.

I think, to start off with at least, we shouldn't have any payment.

This sounds cool. I can't wait for the site to come up.

For the forum though, we can only hook up games and sub domains to forumotion.
Are you going to make a mybb forum or something like on a host?

I agree. I think minimal advertising would be best.

That could eventually pay for vBulletin instead.

phpBB would probably be quite hard for everyone to use without FTP access.

You guys are getting way too ambitious. We don't need to be brainstorming what subdomains we'll be having. We don't even have an alpha out yet. We won't ever need a secure or a membership directory because there is nothing needing a security certificate unless we have a type of payment going on to get something in the game.
